From April 3 to April 5, 2026, Oasis Foundation proudly participated in Career Expo 2026 in the Bay Area, where one mentor and seven students represented our community during an inspiring and educational weekend. The program brought together students and professionals to explore career opportunities, develop new skills, and engage in meaningful conversations about the future of work.
The weekend began on April 3 with optional site visits across Bay Area campuses, giving students the opportunity to explore different environments and gain early exposure to professional and academic spaces. These small-group visits allowed participants to connect more closely with hosts and better understand real-world applications of their studies.
The main event took place on April 4 at Stanford University, where students joined a full day of interactive sessions, networking opportunities, and collaborative learning experiences. From the opening session to the closing presentations, participants were immersed in an environment that encouraged curiosity, innovation, and personal growth. Students engaged with professionals from various industries, asked questions, and explored different career paths.
One of the highlights of the event was the hackathon, where students worked in teams to build creative solutions using AI-powered tools. This hands-on experience encouraged collaboration, problem-solving, and critical thinking. In addition to the hackathon, students also participated in workshops focused on topics such as prompt engineering and the future of work, gaining valuable insights into how artificial intelligence is shaping modern careers.

The event also featured keynote speakers and discussions that provided guidance on career development and leadership. These sessions helped students better understand the skills needed to adapt and succeed in a rapidly changing world.
On April 5, students had the opportunity to explore the Bay Area, visiting local landmarks and experiencing the region’s culture. This final day allowed participants to reflect on their experiences while strengthening connections with one another.
Oasis Foundation is grateful for opportunities like this that empower students to grow academically and professionally. Experiences such as Career Expo 2026 help build confidence, expand perspectives, and inspire the next generation of leaders.
We are proud of our students for their participation and engagement, and we look forward to continuing to support programs that create meaningful opportunities for growth, connection, and future success.
