Shoreline, WA – May 18, 2025 | 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM - The Oasis Foundation is proud to present the Turkmen Food and Cultural Festival, a vibrant, family-friendly event taking place on Sunday, May 18th at Shoreline Community College from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This admission-free celebration of Turkmen culture is open to the public and is expected to attract more than 2,000 attendees from across the Seattle area and beyond.
The event has gained national and regional media attention, featured in over 300 press outlets including AP News, Google News, Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC, and community-focused platforms like The Washington Gazette, Evergreen State Press, and The Olympia Observer.
A Rich Cultural Experience
Guests can expect a full day of authentic Turkmen cuisine, traditional music and dance performances, artisan craft displays, and interactive cultural exhibits. This is an opportunity to experience the rich heritage of Turkmenistan, one of Central Asia’s most unique cultures.
While admission is free, food will be available for purchase, and all proceeds will go toward fundraising efforts supporting the Oasis Foundation’s ongoing cultural and educational programs. From flavorful plov to steamed manty dumplings and traditional sweets, the culinary offerings will be both delicious and meaningful.
