When you mix scenic views, empowering company, and a dash of sea breeze, you get an unforgettable journey—and that’s exactly what happened on our recent women’s trip to Oregon’s Cannon Beach. On June 28, a group of inspiring women from the Oasis Foundation came together for a refreshing escape filled with laughter, bonding, and breathtaking beauty.

This one-day beach getaway for women was more than just a travel experience—it was a celebration of sisterhood and self-care. Organized by the incredible Madina Babakulyyeva, the trip included early morning departures, shared rides in two vehicles, and a full day of relaxing and exploring one of the Pacific Northwest’s most cherished coastal destinations: Cannon Beach, Oregon.

A Day at Cannon Beach: Nature and Nourishment

Known for its iconic Haystack Rock and wide, windswept shores, Cannon Beach is one of the most photogenic and peaceful places in Oregon. From the moment we arrived, the salty ocean breeze and gentle sound of waves welcomed us into a state of calm. Many women took the chance to walk barefoot along the shore, collect shells, take photos, and simply breathe in the healing coastal air.

We shared snacks, played games, and took time to reflect and connect. For some, it was their first time visiting the Oregon Coast. For others, it was a long-awaited return to a cherished place. But for all of us, it became a shared memory that now lives in our hearts.

Empowerment in Every Mile

More than a trip, this was a day of connection and empowerment. It gave women the chance to connect with like-minded peers, embrace nature, and briefly unplug from life’s busyness. From conversations during the drive to shared reflections at sunset, every moment added another layer to our bond.

Women-led travel experiences like this one are vital for mental wellness and personal growth. That’s why the Oasis Foundation for women’s empowerment plans to continue organizing trips like these in the future.

Organized with Purpose

A special thank you goes to Madina Babakulyyeva, who not only coordinated the logistics but poured her heart into making sure every detail was perfect—from free pickup services to creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all participants. Her leadership helped turn a simple idea into a soul-nourishing day.

Looking Ahead

If you missed this trip, don’t worry—there are more adventures on the horizon. Whether you’re new to the Oasis Foundation or a longtime member, we welcome you to join us on our next outing.
